- TX: A man fatally shot his girlfriend and then killed himself as she was opening a lingerie store in a shopping mall Tuesday.
- MI: Ottawa County prosecutors today decided not to pursue criminal charges against either an 8-year-old boy who shot his younger sister earlier this month, or the children’s grandfather, who left the loaded handgun unsecured in his bedroom.

- CA: Police search for who fired a bullet into the air that struck a 6-year-old girl in her abdomen at her San Pablo school playground.
- AZ: Police arrested a Gilbert man on suspicion of child endangerment after a 4-year-old boy shot himself in the arm.
- PA: A north Philadelphia teenager has been formally charged in the shooting of a five year old boy. 15-year-old Kevin Fletcher was arraigned, he’s also charged in another shooting.
- CA: Police received call from a despondent man, Alfredo Rocha Rodriguez, 69, before he shot and killed his wife, Isabel Martinez-Rodriguez, 59, and daughter Ivonne Rodriguez, 26 — then killed himself.
- SC: 61-year-old Alton McCoy Beasley shot and killed both of his adult daughters, 36-year-old Anna Beasley and mother of two young children; and 47-year-old Elizabeth Beasley before killing himself. Another family friend was shot and injured.
- OH: A 12-year-old boy was killed when the butt of his shotgun struck his chest and stopped his heart, authorities said.
