Now that St. Aschroft and the rest of the American Taliban have
decide to apply the same selective eyesight to the Second Amendment
that they use on the New Testament, I only have one question:
When can I get my H-Bomb? After all, the Constitution says the
"the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not
be infringed." Now if the Founding Fathers had meant this
right to apply only to handguns and rifles, they would've had
said so. If Charleton Heston and the rest of those NRA wimps are
really serious about defending the Second Amendment, they won't
rest until every American has the right to own the weapon of mass
destruction of their choice, be it a Stinger surface to air missile
or an Abrahams M-1 tank. Now, rest assured that law abiding Americans
have nothing to fear from a responsible nuclear weapon owner like
myself. I would only use my hydrogen bomb in lawful manner, such
as hunting or self-defense. I will say this, though, those blackjack
dealers at the Golden Nugget might not want to cheat me the next
time I roll into Las Vegas.

let young children and even babies go on being shot down in cold

I cannot stand this Lapierre asshole! Someone should slap the
shit out of him! No one should have any gun larger than a target
pistol and the regular hunting guns! There is NO need of assault
weapons in our nations homes-period!
This NRA is just a political arm of the conservatives, banding
together to support right wing extremists and their lackluster
agenda!
Lastly, whenever this Wayne idiot comes on TV , I just switch
channels as I cannot stand the sight of him or hearing this big
mouthed screwball!
No liberal is going to, or even wanting to remove the guns we
all have in our homes! It is just political rhetoric to slam the
leftists and a possible feather in the hats of these NRA people!
I have known for a long time, the conservatives have not an ounce
more of religion than those of the left persuasion! These Christian
imposters are no better than anyone else! They brag about having
all the money and slurp down champagne instead of beer...and when
you have more money, YOU are the partying one's in this nation...check
out the divorce rates-as they are just as strong on the right
side of the aisle than on the left!

I sent an e-mail yesterday to the Pink Pistols, a gay group of
gun nuts. At the NRA gun fest last week, they went to town on
gay people, speaker after speaker...
He tried real hard to shed some light on why gays are members
of the NRA. My interpretation was DENIAL.
I'll check in often to keep up on my gun news.

What is reasonable? Who decides that? I am sure that Hitler thought
it was reasonable to dispose of people who were not his ideal.
I am sure that Clinton thought it reasonable to get it on with
an intern. I am sure that many people find it reasonable that
same sex marriages be treated with the same legal respect as opposite
sex marriages. And I'm sure that there are plenty of people who
find it reasonable to ban the use of animals for food.
Again, I ask, what is reasonable and who decides this? I have
a REALLY EASY, SIMPLE answer: THE INDIVIDUAL. People should mind
their business unless they are harmed. NOT if they THINK that
they MIGHT be harmed- that is not good enough. Before the use
of legal force prevails, there MUST be factual evidence that harm
was done. PERIOD.

Yeah, there is always a nagging uncertainty in life that the police
can do little about. However, shooting anyone who looks like they
may be dangerous or merely suspicious can create a feeling of
profound security. And remember, personal security is useless
unless it is pro-active. It's no good laying in a pool of blood
thinking to yourself "why didn't I shoot them on sight".
So, it's far better to shoot first and ask questions later. If
everyone did that we'd all be a lot safer.

I also loved the additonal clarification that the officers gave
me, about how self-defense was safest with a gun, for reasons
of Lawyers.
Aparently, knives, batons, etc, aren't classified as "killing"
weapons. So if used for self-defense, you damn well better hope
the injury doesn't proove to be fatal. Or else you're up on murder
charges. The reasoning- Being a nonfatal weapon, you obviously
were "trying" to kill your attacker, and should have
been more carefull. Used more "control."
A gun however, however, has no variable-damage. It makes holes.
And if that hole just happens to kill- oh well.
Crooky pulls a gun on you, and you crack him over the skull with
a nightstick. He dies later from the concussion. You spend the
next 15 years in prison. Crooky pulls a knife on you, you unload
a clip into his chest at close range, you get a pat on the back.
I'll just carry a longbow. Nobody f'cks with a brotha' carrying
a bow. As long as they're not wearing tights and a funny hat,
too...
Or Pantaloons. Could have a Desert Eagle strapped under each
arm and still get your arze kicked for wearing Pantaloons.

you see openly carried weapons here occasionally, but if you go
that way it is a lot of hassle. cops stop you to check your permit,
and most stores ask you to leave. yes, you still have to have
a carry permit. our permit does not specify "concealed".
the reason for this is that if you were to raise up your arm and
your shirt goes with it, your weapon may become temporarily and
inadvertently unconcealed. then you get some anti-gunner freaking
out and calling the police because they saw your gun for 1.2 seconds.
the legislature saw this "trouble" coming so they just
made it a permit, not a concealed permit.
I can carry a .45 and all the ammo i can fit on my belt, but

I like guns, but I'm not to be trusted with one. Not only because
I'm partly nuts, but I'm careless and a little accident prone.
but, I'd like to take a course maybe and buy one. What's a good
brand to get? Friend of mine says stick to the brand names and
you can't go wrong. Does Toastmaster make a good handgun anymore?
