At least us gun nuts have a manhood to measure up to something.
Judging from the spew that you write, you all at gunguys must be

London
Dear Mike,
Facts about the UK.
One - Gun crime dropped after the total ban was implemented;
Two - London is a laugh. I'm 140 pounds and I never have any hassle
there;
Three - There were 38 gun deaths in London in 2001. Rather low
for a city of 5 million. In NYC in 2000 there were 532;
Four - We may suck a cricket, but you suck worse.
Thought this might be of interest to some of your more, unEuropean,
friends.

J. Edgar Hoover
J. Edgar Hoover was, in my opinion, the worst blight to hit America,
up to and including Sept 11th.
But he did not wear dresses.
The entire "Hoover in a dress" story comes from one
individual.
This invididual states that it happened in a place with many people
around.
None of the other individuals will support this story.
The invidividual in question has good cause to be incredibly bitter
at J. Edgar, because of some previous relationship.
I hate him, I think it is a smack in the face to all humans that
his name appears above the FBI building, but there is no point
trying to suggest he was a cross-dresser.
There's just no evidence outside of one, resentful, former friend's
verbal admission.
thx.

Guys,
Check out what's going on in AZ. The NRA boys are attempting to
make the already very open guns laws even more open.
Today you can walk down the street with a Glock strapped to your
hip. You can also get a concealed permit. It takes completion of
a gun course.
Now they want to "reform" the concealed law and make
carrying an unlicensed concealed gun a misdemeanor with a max fine
of $50.
Kinda creeps me out.

The Smith& Wesson .500 Magnum
Dear ninny,
I just finished reading your piece on the new Smith and Wesson
.500 Magnum, and I've got to admit I'm a little worried about you.
The fact that you're so obviously terrified of an inanimate object
is, well, alarming to say the least. Are you feeling ok? Do you
need a nice rest? Are there any other inanimate objects that scare
you this much? I'll bet there are lots of them, aren't there? Seek
help...
In any case, I was so moved by the hysterical shrieking of yours
that I just put in an order for a Smith & Wesson .500 Magnum
today. I figured that anything that made a bed wetter like you
so afraid had to be worth owning. And to think, I was one of the "the
gun nuts and assorted losers" who was boycotting Smith and
Wesson. Silly me. Well, perhaps Smith and Wesson will give you
a commission, as you just sold one of their products all by yourself.
I hope that you're happy, I know I am.
Ghussan D. Munem
Gun nut and proud of it
P.S. I was going to clue you in that the .500 Magnum will likely
not penetrate body armor. You see, it's a big, fat, cast lead,
round nosed bullet, and those don't do too well against kevlar.
But then I remembered that you're totally unencumbered by facts
in everything that you write. Why then should I try to burden you
with facts? They'll just make you all upset. It's so much easier
for you to whine when you don't need those mean old facts to back
up what you say, isn't it? Keep on bleating, sheep man...

I thought your piece on the new 50 caliber was great! My wife
liked it too! She said I won't have to take my viagra tonight.

And Growing
Just thought you might like to know. Our company has sold 18 of
these fine firearms and another 8 of the hunter model. While these
firearms are not yet on the market, each buyer has deposited between
$300 and $500 on there order so they are serious buyers. I bet
that tweaks your ass no end.

Your Smith & Wesson page
You know what I'd like to see you trash? Hardware manufacturers.
The people who manufacture hammers, crowbars, 5 gallon buckets
and monkey wrenches. They all kill people! Happens every day. Tragic.
And, those buckets! Talk about unintentional child deaths! Unconscionable.
Do you place no responsibility whatsoever on people? Individual,
human people? The ones who are supposed to supervise and teach
children? The ones who are supposed to obey laws? Hm.
I guess I'm a gun nut, but I taught my children about guns...
how to leave them alone when they were small, and how to use them
correctly when they were bigger. They never had anything but respect
for them, and are now quite knowledgeable about them and enjoy
them for sport. I also obey laws. I have never killed or maimed
anyone ... surprise!
And, on the subject of syntax, "A Hunting Handgun For Any
Game Animal Walking." Normally, such a superlative is used
to illustrate the higher end of the usage scale, as in elephants,
grizzly bears or water buffalo. Just like SUV commercials show
the vehicle climbing a mountain of rocks. Is that their intended
use? If so, why do so many people "need" them? Yes, some
people do hunt elephants for rational reasons. It's not a stupid
statement, as you so want us to believe.
Oh, and by the way, I don't belong to the Klan, nor do any of
my neighbors or family members. Never have, never will.
Think a bit before you put pen to paper, and be careful about
painting labels on people with a broad brush. Just makes you look
small-minded, you know.
Dale Piper
vacuous author
I feel extremely safe knowing that the S&W .50 cal is not
at all concealable, far too expensive for criminals -- and that
I, as law-abiding citizens, have the right to carry one, much to
the chagrin of the vacuous author of this article.

Another senseless gun death
My uncle was a munitions instructor in World War II, so he was
more familiar with safe handling of guns then the average pistol-packing
asshole. A few days ago, he was cleaning one of his guns and it
discharged hitting him in the head. The wound was inoperable because
of the bullet's close proximity to his brain. He died at 9:45am
this morning -- highly sedated and yet still screaming in pain.
Now tell me again why it is important to own a f***ing firearm?
Katherine Colletti
UK Pistol Laws
Dear Sir,
For the first time since the Dunblane school (Scotland) shooting
a major newspaper has written an article suggesting that the anti-pistol
laws be revoked.
Will not happen of course as the Socialists might lose a few votes
from the pink brigade. It is however a first move towards sanity.
Yours faithfully

Keene Family
Gun Guys--I love you. Keep up the good work--seriously.
I read Ms. Keene's letter about her brother's woes and Magnum's
e-mail on the topic. I understand Ms. Keene, that some people have
a genetic predisposition to anger problems. I don't think your
folks are to blame. But ya know, that's the point--this is all
part of the human condition; some of us will always be poor (dangerous)
gun owners, no matter what treatment we have access to, etc., etc.
As long as some people in the crowd have low IQs, poor judgment,
drug addictions, poor insight, are too young, and/or have very
poor anger control--it's a disaster to make guns available to everyone.
A horde of unfit owners will always be out there in any human population.
This is just reality. And though most gun owners stay out of trouble,
those who don't cause more than enough misery to offset any good
that guns might do. I applaud the Gun Guys and other entities that
strive so hard to drive this point home. The tragedy is that so
many just don't "get it," or worse, shrug it off and
say, "It's not my problem--am I my brother's keeper?"
I do feel bad for you as a person over your family situation,
and agree that your brother's intrinsic problems are not your parents'
fault. But I agree with Magnum that your dad is misguided. He of
all people, in view of his unsuccessful efforts to help your brother,
should understand how stupid it is to just let anybody and everybody
have a gun, with nary an intelligent question asked ahead.
Good luck,
Mother Bear
I'm afraid of Americans . . .
Hi Guys,
I get a shiver down my spine when I read some of the insane statements
coming from hardcore pro-gun supporters. I have come to the conclusion
that ignorance is rampant in the US...and this is the heart of
your problems...a mildly HUGE lack in education.
Statements like "I will never give up my right to own firearms,
from my .22 to my AK-47, I will never give them up, or surrender
them. you should all be in prison for treason!" These statements
reveal the backbone (Or lack there of) of their logic (if that's
what you want to call it). The question is, how do you argue with
such stupidity? My advice is to ignore the plebeians...move onto
congress, at least they're capable of some sort of comprehensive
dialogue rather than the traditional "WE GOT DA BOMB!" mentality
you run into with these morons. If that doesn't work, may I suggest
Thailand, we have good food, not so many guns, and the ignoramus'
that write to you would never get here because they wouldn't be
able to find it on a map.
Foreign Mantis
Thank you
I just wanted to thank you for telling me about the .500 S&W
revolver and ammo. What a beautiful thing! I rarely carry, and
when I do, nobody knows it, and so far, I've always been able to
avoid having to make it known. I can reason with most humans, and
avoid most of those for whom reason has no meaning. On the other
hand, I am deathly afraid of being awakened by a large predator
while still helpless, coming from sleep. The .454 Casull, while
an admirable effort, is just a bit light as an emergency defense
against griz. Heck, a BLU-82 is none too heavy, but tough to use
in close quarters. I think you have just cured my insomnia in the
backcountry.

will you guys ever learn
I mean seriously here, what is it that you anti-gun parasites
don't like? is it the freedom to have a gun? the joy someone might
have with firing a firearm that might bother you? I mean I don't
get it? you anti-gunners would beat a person into a coma if his
dog crapped in your front yard, or gave you the finger at a stop
light for cutting them off, you are not about peace and love, you're
about the destruction of a way of life. we go to war to protect
our freedoms, instead you go out and cause anarchy in the nations
streets protesting whatever you are protesting, it isn't about
the war, its about what you particularly don't like, a certain
administration, a certain party in charge of the house and senate
and white house. you want the freedom to kill the unborn but not
a murderer who deserves death. I have a target shoot here at my
farm where my brothers and friends and I can get together to fire
our guns. no alcohol no illicit drugs. (which I'm sure you pseudo
do-gooders have a ball doing) just clean good Godly fun and fellowship.
why in the world would you want to take that part of americana
away from us just because you don't like it.
people get hurt everyday from accidents, mishaps and unfortunate
timing, not from guns, but choking, slipping, climbing, and many
other home and work problems. so what is it? here is what I think
it is … you guys are just hateful, sad, angry and most probably
bored. most of all I think you just despise the american way of
life, the freedoms we all enjoy. you've never been to a place yet
where you've had to fight for what you love and care deeply about
whether historically or personally. there is an old axiom "be
careful of what you wish for, you just might get it".

Dear Gun Guys,
I proudly proclaim myself to be Joseph Flanagan, and you anti-gun
liberal assholes do not scare me! Go ahead, post my name? Tell
Sarah Brady I stopped by, and for all of you to start packing your
bags, cause the end is near!

A quick question
To all you pro gun psychos... How is it that in a country like
Iraq, where every farmer, doctor, and child owns an automatic weapon,
a dictatorship STILL sprung up? Could it be that the ability to
own a gun may not actually have ANY bearing on your governments
decisions? Do you loonies with hunting rifles and handguns think
they would even make a DENT if the US government decided to cow
us all? Think again army reject. The funny thing about comparing
an anti-gun activist to Stalin, Bin Laden, Hussein, and the like
is that EVERY DAMN ONE of the above mentioned ADVOCATES people
taking up arms.
Do we hate freedom? Hell no we don't! But I find it hilarious
that you could possibly equate wanting to usher in even the most
MINOR of gun protection law as a deep and abiding hatred for our
great Country. Gentlemen, I think you need a nice deep shot of
PERSPECTIVE.

Second Amendment
Hi Gunguys-
Was Thomas Jefferson wrong, or what?
To Jefferson the Second Amendment was “the substitution
of militia for a standing army.”
Now we have a huge standing army, no militia comparable to that
of Jefferson’s day, and a Second Amendment that is being
used to maintain our nation’s lead in writing gun-related
death certificates.
Jefferson thought a well-regulated militia, in preference to a
standing army, was the proper defense of a free people. In a letter
to Dr. Joseph Priestley in 1802 he referred to the Second Amendment
as just such a substitution.
So, was Thomas Jefferson wrong, or what?
Jefferson’s letter to Dr. Priestley can be read at page

A fairer explanation of the gun culture cannot be found.

500 S&W Winner
Hi Guys:
Congratulations on Site of the Month award going to Smith & Wesson
for the new 500 Smith & Wesson Magnum.
This is truly an amazing engineering feat.
Finally, for the first time in human history we have a handgun
that generates as much muzzle energy as the ancient 7x57mm Mauser
military rifle developed in 1892. Both rounds generate 2,500 foot-pounds
of energy at the muzzle. Note that the ability of small arms fire
to penetrate body armor is directly proportional to impact energy,
which is always less than muzzle energy due to deceleration from
wind drag. Meaning that any body armor that won't hold up to the
500 S&W Magnum won't hold up to 90% of the deer rifles out
there either, such as 270 Winchester, 308 Winchester, 30-06, etc.
At $1000+ each, 5 1/4 pounds and an overall length of 18 inches
this one is bound to be a winner with the Saturday night special
crowd. I've seen police photos of sawed-off shotguns that were
shorter. But when compared to a full size dangerous game rifle
at over 8 pounds and 42 inches in length this much easier to carry
in the field.
The true beneficiaries of this remarkable advance are Forest
Service personnel, oil pipeline workers, botanists, zoologists,
archeologists, and nature photographers, etc. Those whose work
requires them to be in areas where Grizzly bears, or Hippos (far
and away the largest killer of man in the animal kingdom), of Cape
Buffalo or any dangerous wild animals are abundant. Those who would
otherwise be required by regulation or just common sense to carry
a defensive weapon capable of handling dangerous animals weighing
over 1000 pounds. Most of these workers spend a great deal of time
on foot and are already carrying a large amount of equipment. Too
these people their dangerous game protection is like part of their
first aid kit. It is very seldom used, but when you need it, you
really need it!!!!

Lunatic Fringe
It's so funny to read the drivel that comes from pro-gun people.
I live in a country that has banned firearms in both public and
private. I leave my door unlocked at night.
So far I have not been murdered and I am not afraid to walk the
streets at night. Yes, there are guns in this country, but the
only people that die from them are people that shoot at each other.
As far as protection is concerned I have a fist and a big pair
of boots but have never needed to use them since the school playground.
A country that is driven by fear whose children grow up under
the shadow of violence and war should not be giving guns freely
to their people. Over 11,000 people were shot to death in the USA
last year! That is crazy!! I cannot believe that your citizens
tolerate such insanity just for some misplaced sense of "freedom".
The only thing stopping me from visiting the US is the threat of
guns and death.
