Ted Nugent is a woman! That’s the message from our October
Gun Guys site of the month, Armed Females of America.
The first thing a visitor sees on the Armed Females home page
is a quote from Ted Nugent -- or shall we say Teddy? Is this
because Ted Nugent is an “armed female” or is it
that the Armed Females of America couldn’t find a high
profile spokeswoman to sing their mantra? Let’s look at
why the talent search is so hard.
In 2000, men shot and killed 879 women during the course of
the year with a firearm. Of the 879 women murdered by guns,
557 (63%) were female intimates of their male killers. Evidence
like that kinda blows a hole in the Armed Females mission.
“We retain the right to own ‘ANY’ firearm
that we choose,” says the (now don’t laugh) “National
Director” Carma Lewis. “We can never be accepted
into the new world community without a change in our laws, or
a civil war!”
Armed Females answered one of my FAQ’s (frequently asked
questions): Why an AK47 as the logo and not an M16? And the
answer is…………“The Armed Females
view the AK47 as a symbol of FREEDOM!”
